My California Scientific Sport screen with a MRS spoiler is where it's at when the temps climb. Was coming back from the Charlotte (NC) area Saturday. 80-85mph average (at 94F) for about 60 miles of that ride, still able to hear the tunes on my Cardo.

Accordingly, the geometry and position of the windscreen, the rider, their helmet and jacket /collar can all influence the noise level. I ride with a Corsair-X, Shoei X-11 and Shoei Multitec. In order of quiet, I would rate them X-11, Corsair-X and Multtec.......low to high noise. However, I can alter the noise level significantly by tilting the helmets and positioning my head around the windscreen; basically, altering the flow field below my helmet and above my shoulders. Ear plugs? Always. Howard Leight Laserlites 33NRR which is nominally the same as Wessie's SNR rating

Tried them and they seem to be okay with the BMW and my Neotec helmet. Nominally have a similar SNR. Not so easy to use as they don't have the large butt so you have to excavate them with a key. |
