My dealer (Max BMW in Connecticut) tells me they are expecting some R1250RS bikes to arrive at their store in 2 to 3 weeks. I have booked a test ride as soon as they show up. |

They'll be here before then. My local dealer is listing 2 in their inventory. Between 2 local dealers I saw three '20 R1200R's. I'm in Minnesota.

Did you mean to say R1200R's or R1200RS? The R1200R will probably be here first as it was in other parts of the world, but I'm talking about the R1200RS. If they are here even sooner than two or three weeks that will be even better. |

After 1400 miles with the new engine in my RT I'm still trying to decide if it is any "smoother" than my RS which had 10000 miles on the clock. Perhaps my expectations were too high? The quickshifter is much more clunky than the RS, although most forumites claim it is super smooth...I have undertaken the calibration procedure with some improvement but it's still not as good. In particular, I don't get the really nice throttle blip on changing down that I had with the RS. If it doesn't improve I guess I'll have to take it in for a look-see. In the old days I would have nipped down to Riders for chat with Craig and the lads but it's not so convenient now.... It's interesting that we went from not knowing if the US would get the 2020 R1250RS to being able to buy one before the UK members. Lee |

Update! I just learned that a blue 1250RS and a black 1250RS will be arriving at my dealer on Saturday July 27. I plan to be there to have a look. I expect to buy one unless something disappoints me, which I don't expect. |
