Congrats on your new RS John.
I would wait until next year before making mods on your bike like risers.
After some time you may adjust to the new riding position.

I have had mine about 8 days. Love the Bike. I have been able to ride about 4 day of the past 8 and have just put 952 miles on it.

Dislikes - Hate the Low Seat - It was all they had, plus I knew I was going to replace it with a Sargent - (thank you Sargent for the labor day sale) Seat comes on Monday
- slight reach to the bars - Helibar risers fixed that issue real quick

Likes - 1250 engine pulls like a freight train and gets great mileage (averaging about 53 Mpg mixed riding)
- TFT is awesome
- bike looks great - was just at the 2019 BMW riders association rally in Woodstock VA - It got a lot of complements

Issue- Highbeam issue - intermittently does not work - before and after putting on the Helibar risers. Taking her back to the dealer for warranty work to fix that issue.

Other than that - looking to put my next 952 miles on the bike

Did you find the Helibars changed the steering at all? I'm guessing you ordered the R1200RS Sargent?
