My local dealer just got two in this morning, a black one and a yellow one. Going to have to swing by there after work today.

I stick by my Versys view,I mentioned it to the salesman(yes we did some figures) and he agreed,though the blue did look a little Darth Vader if the lighting was right and I squinted a little..... while standing on my left leg.

My 6K mile 18 variant will be going in for it's 6500 service in a couple of weeks so might bait the sales guy a bit n see what numbers he's talkiing.


I could do with a good laugh

I realise I've been a bit disparaging towards the new 1250 and there's several members of the forum who've placed orders for the new bike. I offer you my heartfelt apology for any offence my comments may have caused. We've all got different opinions on what we like,let's face it the world would be a very very dull place if we all liked the same thing.
On paper the new bike is better in all aspects over the current model.
I'm sure you'll have many years/thousands of miles of enjoyable riding on the new bike.
After all,no one has ever asked a stranger on a forum how they should spend their money have they.

Test ride booked for tomorrow.
I'm very keen to try out the new engine etc, and I really, really like the idea of all the 'upgrades' but I've already made up my mind that the sales guy is going to have to basically move heaven and earth to come up with a deal good enough to get me to move off my Lupine.

The part exchange offers they've given me in the past have been a joke, so I've hardened my resolve, and won't even entertain the idea unless they come to the party.
