Has anyone has installed the drive shaft housing ventilation valve? I found some water in there. |

What I see from the parts diagram https://www.shopbmwmotorcycles.com/oem-p...lve-33178358789, is that there are two "bungs", part #4 in the diagram, one at either end of the driveshaft housing/swingarm. I'd get the mod/recall done on my RS if I could even if it's only intended for the GS. It would be a simple DIY anyway, whether the holes are threaded or not, if that part#4 is available.

Relies on the air in the casing heating up. The expansion forces the moisture out a bit like a wet fart!
