If we could even just export the forum to a CSV and allow anyone to download and search through it, it'd be useful. Yes, there's a tiny bit archived from the old site (11 threads saved as PDFs, but outside the forum proper so nobody will ever find its contents in a site search if all they use is the forum) but not in a format that's searchable or even readable in the forum, so if there's a lack of visits to those pages I'd look at how the info is presented or (non-)searchable first. instead of the quality of the content.

Last time this topic came up I started writing some code to scrape the content of the entire forum, so I've dusted that off today and expanded it a little bit. With a couple of hours coding effort, I can now recursively crawl over all of the posts in selected sub-forums and extract the content, preserving the metadata (sub-forum, message id, timestamp, topic, author, post number) of each post. Let's just say I enjoy a programming challenge.

There are a few refinements required before this is code I'd rely on to extract the data, but it's not far off.

Making the data into something useable is another matter, and will be left as an exercise for the reader...

Should we consider a countdown clock so we can get our "Good-Byes" and "Farewells" in order before the plug is pulled?

They are learning. The NE of France, has always had better beers due to the Flemish and Belgian influence. There is an excellent brewery in St Omer, owned by family again after a brief spell under Heineken. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brasserie_de_Saint-Omer

Also, Inbev (now merged with your AB) has marketed the Leffe brand across all of France as it seems they actually like tasty beer. I was able to buy a refreshing Leffe Brune in the far SW of France in Carcassonne.

Other Belgian brands such as Cuvee des Trolls and Affligem (an Abbaye beer now owned by Heineken) are also working their way westwards.

Anyway, we will be in Normandy for a few days, the home of cidre as too cold to grow grapes. Sunday I will be in Reims, home of champagne and Monday we will be in Germany, conflicted by being in the Baden wine region and the second best place for beer.
