I don't find my screen Loud but it Wobbles. I've got a brand new R1250RS and after about 1500km the screen started to vibrate when the revs got low. The screws are tightened well, there is a little lateral play in the movings parts but a mecanics at the dealership told me it was normal.

It's happening in low position too and it's worse when the screen is high. Any idea to fix this ? :)

It didn't catch my attention but I'll take a look. The moment it happens is not long, until the engine rev's enought to stop vibrate but when I look at the screen when it happens it seems to shake rather hard ! If I touch it with one finger it stops.

This is a fascinating thread which has kept me from starting work this morning!
Picked up my RS at the weekend, love it, but the wind noise. Jeez. Currently the screen is mounted in the upper holes, in the lower position from there the air hits me right in my eyeline, never been covered in so many flies, in the upper position just too noisy.
Am going to switch it to the lower holes and see if that makes any difference.
I want to put some bar risers on, so will do that first I think, and then if no better try some alternative screens.
I am 5'10" and slim build, standard seat height. Am thinking goig for the Puig screen or maybe the V Stream. The Aeroflows look good, but don't think you can get them over here.
Anyone, 5'10", slim with bar risers solved the problem?

I find the design of the stock screen bizarre. It's curved over towards the rider with that v in the middle.

I am 5"10" and relatively slim. I have had good luck reducing noise and providing increased wind protection with a Powerbronze RS touring windshield, topped with a cheap Chinese clip-on wind deflector that I purchased from Amazon.

IMHO when it comes to windscreens, bigger it not necessarily better. For me a screen that puts my head in clean air and my upper body from neck down in a bubble is best in terms of noise and buffeting. The stock RS screen is not bad, but it is noisy. A quiet helmet always helps.

I’m 6’3” and got risers and the Puig screen. I spoke with the Aeroflow guy on the phone and their screen won’t fit the newer RS. I use an Arai Signet X helmet.

The Puig screen is an improvement but it’s still not great. I like the lower position clean air up to about 55mph and the upper position at faster speeds. It’s not quiet but I got some molded earplugs that I now find essential and in total it works well enough.

AeroScreen Design
The AeroScreen has several notable features incorporated into the design that contribute to its performance. True to an AeroFlow design, the R1250RS Watercooled screen incorporates a flare at the top of the screen. Since airflow follows the shape it's leaving, the AeroScreens' mildly flared top directs smooth airflow up and over the driver's helmet while running the screen below eye level. The smooth contours and perimeter shape ensures turbulence free airflow and reduces back-pressure.

Due to their design the Sport AeroScreens ​create an amazing amount of driver protection for their size​. The 4-different height screens allow drivers to tailor the amount of protection to fit their height and driving style.​4 screen heights allow you to choose between ​having protection for the body while leaving the helmet in clean airflow pick one that'll provide more torso and arm protection while directing clean air over the helmet.

Even our smallest screen, the Short-Sport​, provides ​more torso protection and smoother airflow than stock. The Short- Sport is 3-1/2" shorter than stock and 2-1/2" wider at the top. Though much smaller than stock, the Short-Sport provides the driver with smoother, turbulence free air and more torso protection.

R1250RSW Sport and Touring AeroScreen Mounting
The R1250RSW mounting brackets have High and Low screen mounting holes so the Stock screen can be mounted in either a high or low position. For better structural integrity our larger Sport and Touring AeroScreens attach to the brackets using only the top and bottom pair of bracket mounting holes. This still allows the AeroScreens to be adjusted Up and Down with the stock adjusting mechanism's approximately 3" of lift from the low to high positions.

Height and Width Comparisons
Our AeroScreens don't extend as far below the screen mounting holes as the stock screen. Consequently, comparing overall screen lengths is not relative to the screens' effectiveness. Height comparisons are made from the center of the top mounting holes to the tallest part of the screen, at the center. The tallest part of the body is the top of the helmet and, to create the best helmet protection, the screen needs to be tallest at the center.
