In my corner of Europe at the moment I can attest all kind of deliveries are crazy scarce. Ducati will tell you they 'reasonably expect' to ship a new today paid bike by March 2023, Hondas and Japanese are neigh impossible to get with local Honda dealer receiving only 2 NT1100's and 2 CBR500X's which sold immediately. Suzuki has one 1000GT showroom example in stock with no new ones by next year and they shipped like 3 bikes altogether. Friend who wanted to get a new Hayabusa was politely and directly explained they can't even guess the possible delivery, 2023 questionable.

BMW is around 4 months on more regular models (my current experience with the RS), and the exotic beasts such as the K1600GT's and the sorts are somewhere in the misty 2023 even if ordered as far back as Feb 2022.

I can't image Guzzi or MVA doing much better.

That guy on a red CBR in January people stare at because it's 0C and they're shivering in a car with heated seats - but he's filtering awaaaay!

I am eagerly waiting to have a sit on one. Great looking bike that tick a lot of boxes.
Curious if they are having problems with it, as it been along time coming 🤔

Local dealer says all the publicity will be structured around the Moto Guzzi centenary celebration in ealry Septemeber wit bikes released 'shortly afterwards'. They are due x 1 demo bike but do not know if its the basic or all singing all dancing version. Basic is £12550, top of range £15000. Luggage will be available , hopefully featured in release information. Dealer has taken several deposits already.

It looks like a nice bike, but I don't see that it has more features than the RS, other than the active aero (meh).

As far as more modes, it'd be interesting to compare them to the levels of adjustment the RS has within some of the modes (on throttle response, etc) and what exactly the suspension modes consist of.

An electric windscreen would be nice, but the one on the V100 is tiny. Regardless, I like the V100 and it reminds me of the RS in a lot of ways. I'm not sure about owning an Italian bike though.

I don't think Italian bikes are any worse than other brands nowadays. The Moto Guzzi V85TT has been around for some time and the V100 is just an evolution of that bike. The V85 is popular over here and there are no horror stories.

For me that Moto Guzzi is love at first sight They've hit the nail on the head with that one.
I really like that across the frame 90 deg V-twin layout, which makes more sense than a boxer layout.
Both con rods share a common crank journal so no large offset between left and right cylinders as in a boxer.
Perfect primary balance with the V as opposed the the "rocking " and longer unsupported crank of a boxer.
Not to mention the sound of a 90 deg V twin as opposed to the flat sounding boxer.
I wish BMW had made a V twin first and stuck with it.
Guzzi and Ducati have made the 90 deg V an Italian icon.
Having said that, I am a loyal boxer fan, but I could be swayed...

A Vee can't have perfect primary balance. The 180-degree crank is what gives the boxer primary balance......

I believe both layouts have perfect primary balance. So does a 45 deg (HD) for that matter. Not so for anything else.
I'm open to correction tho'
