Curtiss Motors strikes again with a $75K electric phallus museum model. I would really like to see how the chassis will be designed so that it will support that phallus-symbol battery pack from just its rear end. Here is another odd electric motorcycle design from Curtiss, called the Zeus Radial V8. At least this one provides power train specifications and has other design features other than a phallus. Not a peep about price, though: https://electricmotorcycles.news/curtiss...mbitious-plans/

Very slow though in the UK, with the exception of some concept models. Being unconstrained by a standard drive train gives some radical design possibilities. This months Bike magazine has a reasonable feature on electric bikes, no doubt the letters page will be bursting next month. Please keep posting these links. The range is too limited for me to do motorbike trips, and for a ride to the town center I still prefer my hybrid bicycle, as this allows me to use many different ways around the daily traffic jam - something not possible when using a "real" motor vehicle.

Anyone recall the Moto Parilla brand of 4-stroke 250cc Italian motorcycles that briefly entered the U.S. market during the early 1960's? They were nice looking motorcycles and had decent performance for the day, but were outsold by the similar Ducati models and quickly faded from the scene. Well Moto Parilla is back.
