It looks like the LiveWire is not going to do anything to improve H-D stock prices. The new bike is not getting any love from the investment community:

Honda, Caltech and NASA are trying to develop another "world-beating" battery, this one based upon fluorine. (Not everyone's favorite chemical on the periodic table, but they are tossing in a little copper and lanthanum, too - whatever the heck that is.) If they can get it to work, the claim is that it could have 10 times the power density of a lithium battery. And ten times the fire potential if something goes wrong?

Anyone recall the Alta Motors electric motorcycle? (Their factory was located about 10 miles from my home.) They were really starting to take off in the EV off-road marketplace in the U.S. in 2017 and during the first half of 2018. The company was partially funded by Harley, who pulled out last summer and left them high and dry, just when they needed additional financing to keep building bikes. Now, according to this article, their EV parts and tech have been purchased by Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) who likely will be using the technology to advance their plans to produce electric sport and utility vehicles - but probably not motorcycles, which have never been their thing (at least not during the past 20 years). https://www.asphaltandrubber.com/news/brp-buys-alta-motors/

Thanks for those links. I asked Zero some specifics about charging rate on single phase AC as the 95 % figure in one hour was surprising for something not equipped with DCFC. Still waiting to hear back. 3 phase charging which allows you to connect for 1 hour is not that common in the UK.
