I finished installing the HeliBars and had no issues whatsoever with the install. Everything went on well and the instructions were excellent. I really did not find any issues with the clutch line, brake line, or the nav6 cabling. Plenty of slack and I did not find any problems when I rotated the brake and clutch assembly up ever so slightly for the difference in height with the Helibars. All in all, I'm happy with the results. |

Just ordered same kit as fred, also purchased the clutch and brake line just in case I needed them |

So after installing the Helibars on my 2020 R1250 RS, and riding it 200 miles, I did notice that the clutch braided cable had started to show abrasions and cuts. Clearly, this setup while very nice, adding 1” in height and 3/4” towards the rider, needs to address the clutch cable issue. |

Well, I'm 5'8" 169Lbs. I can definitely tell the difference with the Helibars installed, and then going back to stock. I put on 100 miles today back on the stock setup and although delightful to ride, I'm not sure I'd want to put 300 or 400 miles on the RS with the stock risers. |

You should be able to follow the clutch line down to the frame interface, then disconnect the factory soft cable tie (1 or 2) to enable slight rerouting of the line, enough to compensate for the Heli risers. Less money and labor, as your not having to buy more parts and bleed the clutch system. |

going by the video clutch shouldn't need bleeding as long as you don't pull leaver whilst cables off |
