RE: Helibars on a 2020 R1250 RS - 4

Here is a picture of the Heli bars on my 2020 R1250RS. Stock GPS position, no need of any hose or cable extension or reposition. Only issue is my large tank bag will hit the gps if I don't reposition it, my small tank bag is fine.risers 1.jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

Even if you can see the GPS screen over your small tankbag, I still think the position is too low and detracts attention from the road for too long, I’d move it behind the screen.

hi ,i fitted the Hornig extension piece to my clutch hose & moved the lever back up. i am much happier with this. a tad expensive (49 euros ) but i wont have to worry with damaged hoses as in the case of jmarnall

hi, i hope i dont sound paranoid, i was running my hand down the clutch hose & i found very light abrasion where the hose etc come up against the threads that come through the headstock . being an ex plumber i had some spare dome headed tap washers drilled out with a 7.5 drill & hay presto job done IMG_0654.JPG - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)IMG_0655.JPG - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)
