Is there a way to adjust the foot controls (shifter & rear brake) up or down?

I'm looking at the foot controls and I'm not sure...has anyone successfully adjusted the foot shifter and brake up or down successfully? I'm looking to raise my pegs a bit with eccentric footpegs and want to adjust the foot controls as well.

Slacken nuts (1).
Turn selector rod (2) to adjust length, making sure that distance (A) is not exceeded.

Already looked at those and they are at the same height as the stock pegs and can only be lowered. I just need slightly up a bit since I'm dragging peg feelers now. 1st it was my toes, but I removed the passenger pegs and hangers so I could tuck my heels in a bit along with my toes in on the pegs....now the damn feelers are dragging. Yes I hang off the bike. I guess I could just remove the feelers and see how that goes. BMW really mounted these pegs (and the seat) low on this bike in relation to the ground when comparing it to my other odd duck BMW sportbikes.

You need a sports bike with a riding position best suited to a jockey. Rear sets and clip on bars.

Some of us need/want more leg room and go for taller seats and lower pegs.

Yes, if your seeking shorter lap times your boots, peg studs, crash bars, even rocker covers.

A more sedate riding style - on public roads - and I don’t mean slow, can be enjoyed without grinding any part of body or bike on the tarmac.

Thanks Ray. I googled K1300 pegs, very nice option. Sounds like a good route for now is to remove/shorten the feelers based on what I'm reading. There are only 2 options for rearsets (Aella & Saito), but I'm not willing to go there yet. I took the center stand off since I won't need it and since it does sit rather low and looked like it might drag. Yep understood about the hanging off part and I'm not in full racer boy off the seat lean which would be overcommitting on a public road and too difficult to correct when needed. (i.e. - distracted driver over the yellow line, deer runs out...turtle/rooster/wild turkey in the road etc.) Plus the higher bars don't allow it. I just feel the pegs need to be maybe 1/2" higher.

The bike is extremely confidence inspiring to say the least...just disappears underneath me in a matter of seconds after taking off. Such a pleasure to ride. I'm holding out hope they will offer an R bike that is a pure sportbike one day. Wishful thinking, I know, but they did it in 3 variants in years past, but without the tech that's available now (ESA is pure gold). No interest in inline 4s...way overkill for the street...even for the track.

Thanks Ray, i just...as in 5 minutes ago bought a set of K1300S pegs on eBay...just the pegs though, no springs so any additional pics/info are appreciated. Sounds like I should find the part numbers for the K1300S springs and order those as well!

No mention of your weight. Have you tried simply stiffening up the preload 🤔
