2016 RS with 50000km. 2nd owner, been 100% for the 15 odd months I've owned her.
Just recently, in the past few months I find that when she's hot, and I'm riding slowly
in traffic, or stopped at a light, stop street etc, as I want to accelerate to pull away, she
dies. I've almost dropped her twice now pulling off at a corner. Doesnt happen all the time, but
it does affect my confidence in riding in stop start conditions.
Anyone had this, or have any suggestions on solving this?

Could be so many things that it would be unwise to speculate as to the cause. I'd start with doing the obvious such as renewing spark plugs, checking for clogged air filter and such. If you have access to a diagnostic tool such as a GS911 or MotoScan you would have far better insight. Without proper diagnostics you would be groping in the dark.
An unexpected engine stall when you are making an elegant slow u turn is no joke.

Very hard to prove a source of this but you can help by making some changes, use another garage or super unleaded rather than standard octane, fuel system cleaner.
Maybe you picked up some old or contaminated fuel, dirt and water in fuel not best for a clean U-turn.
New plugs are another thing you can rule out as already mentioned.
