This is back in the news, well into the BMW Club magazine anyway.
A F900XR rider had his dash stolen, he says in about 20 seconds, whilst parked up in London.
The local BMW dealer recovered the bike and said they have another 4 suffering the same fate. Doesn't say what models.
A sad state of affairs all round and makes you wonder what lengths you have to go to to protect your bike and accessories.
Keeping away from London maybe one....

So presumably stolen by the same crew, who don't realise that they are worthless as they need to be fitted by a BMW dealership? When they cotton on, it'll stop again...
