I thought that muffs kept your ears warm |

About 25 years ago my then girlfriend bought me a set of handlebar muffs for my GPZ 550, I didn't own a car and rode all year round. All was well until I accelerated onto the A40 Westway showing off in front of a Porsche, suddenly the air pressure pushed the muffs and both the front brake and clutch levers got squeezed back. Not so happy days. |

So Mrs Bravo and I nipped over to our old mate Paul B's place as he had a very nice set of hardly used Barkbusters for sale. He very kindly fitted them for me whilst we had a natter. The right one went on a treat but the left one fouled the screen and the fairing. We couldn't work it out,they were ok on his bike. It then dawned on us that his bike has risers fitted. We were then puzzled that there was a greater gap between the bar and the tank when the bike is on full left lock than when on full right lock. The yolks were on the lockstop in both instances. We were bouncing theories off each other we then measured his bike....... That was the same. MY MISSION IN 2019 IS TO BE AN EVEN BIGGER CUNT THAN I WAS IN 2018 |

I have Wunderlich bar risers (25mm up only) and have fitted @Paul B 's Barkbuster hand guards that @Bravo coveted. Took them for a ride this morning, a 66 mile lap of the Cotswolds including the usual private road section where one can easily double the national speed limit. |

Zitat von Bravo im Beitrag #19 I haven't noticed this but I have Hornig risers fitted. Even with those I had to reposition the right grip cluster a bit to keep the Barkbuster on that side from contacting the tank at full turn.
