I just returned after 2 weeks roundtrip in Norway with the 49L topcase fitted. No problems at all. Works well with the RS.

Hi everyone,
the new RS1250 TB will arrive in a few days, I would like to install the vario topcase. It's still possible?
If yes, can I buy the latest model for the GS1250 or other models?

A non-BMW large capacity alternative is SHAD. The SH59X is expandable from 46L to 59L for when you want to take your elephant with you. Its a clever execution, all done with rigid polymer, no soft bellows or zippers, though you will need SHAD's mount and it requires its own locking key.

What kind of change did you apply?
I want to do the same and I'd appreciate some pictures to do the same.

I prefer the GIVI 49L.

It’s “cuboid”.

Very good. Previous owner had added a rectangular net inside the lid.

At first I thought it was silly, but it turned out to be very useful for dusters, plastic gloves, etc.
