I dropped my 2016 R1200RS off at the dealer yesterday with keys and paperwork and asked him to get me a 2021 RS (Exclusive, Special Package). ETA is 30-90 days with 45 days seeming likely. You only live once and I've used up most of that life already so one might as well ride off in style. Ride reports when I get the bike. GC

Blue- it seemed to be the only choice when I used the website to build the bike. My second choice was black. Yellow didn't seem like a good idea.

Hmm... I tend to suffer from new motorcycle delirium that causes me to overlook details when ordering so I'm not sure but the BMW Motorrad site seems to indicate a 6.5 inch TFT.

What's the latest on this?

When I checked with the dealer about a week ago, I was told that the beast had come off the production line and would eventually show up here. My guess is sometime in May but who knows.

I think you won’t be disappointed I have a Black but is fully spec’ed with the exception of the alarm and sos call I would recommend a good trickle charger too.
Moved reluctantly from my 2010 K1300GT but don’t regret a moment the RS seems more agile and on a par with the power delivery of the old K1300GT. Just the wife says there is less room and more wind, this was solved by buying her a Honda PCX 125 scooter;)

Thanks @Petrolhead_CZ! I had a 2007 K1200R Sport for a couple of years- lovely bike but too much motorcycle for me and hard to handle in traffic jams, which are to be frequently found in the metro-DC area. The step up from R1200RS to R1250RS is likely to be satisfying- at least based on the chatter on this board. The beast hasn't arrived yet but I've sworn to be patient.

hi gc141x you picked the right colour the blue is great I did the same r1200rs 2016 model to the r1250rs 2020 model, you will enjoy the new set up and the colour screen.

Update from the dealer today, The bike is still in "Produced Not Shipped" status, reportedly on account of "The issue stems from the global container shortages, trailer shortages, staffing shortages and...". The bike will show up eventually.
