Installing Header on R1200RS/What to do with stock flapper control box/cables?

Hey Guys,
If I remove this thing probably will turn the check engine light on. Whats the best way to solve this? Thanks in advance for any advice!

I have the servo buddy. Which headers did you get?

I can confirm servo buddy works. Put it on today, no CEL

I managed to get hold of a set of G.P.R decat headers yesterday. Brand new in the box £80!
The information in this thread is most useful. Yet again I found another reason to be part of this wonderful forum.

I was collecting Tour of Honors pictures last week in Colorado. When my check engine light appeared and my revs became limited to thirty-five hundred RPM.
It was determine that the servo motor for the flapper valve broke in the the closed position, which sent a signal to the ECU too limit the RPM's. The fix was to remove
the servo motor which cleared the RPM limiter fault, but left the engine fault light on for the rest of the trip. My dealer is ordering a servo buddy for when I get home.

New headers installed when the bike went for it's first MOT. They certainly sound different but won't know for sure if I'm getting anymore ommmmph till I take Mrs Bravo out on it next weekend.
