I very much doubt it. In a thread on UKGSer which touches on re-mapping the owner does not answer questions but instead threatens legal action. But if I was to pick up the phone I would ask.

1. How is it possible to meaningfully measure the engine a/f ratio with a lambda probe inserted into the exhaust after the catalytic converter.

2. How can motorcycles which have run numerous track days be running so lean as to be dangerous to run on a Dyno.

3. How can code which is written to the ECU be invisible.

Those would be my top three although I'm 3 long island iced teas into the evening.

I'm not suggesting that it's snake oil but that I prefer to understand what's happening and that's not something I think I'd get based on what I've seen on YouTube.

If I'd spent years perfecting ECU remapping, I'd be a bit reluctant to spill the beans on how I did it. Knowledge is power! Hilltop don't only tweek ECUs for road going Beemers, they also carry out a lot of work on race bike ECUs, for some top teams. I strongly suspect they would have been outed by now if they didn't deliver.

Take a look at this test of the 1200 vs 1250. The dyno test shows the 1200 tested to be in dire need of a remap. I don't know if this is a specific issue with the tested bike, or typical of the 1200 on the GS.
