What's coming through clearly here is that most of us have come to the RS after a succession of other bikes of all kinds, and are finding the RS to be a "complete" package. Occasionally I have a yearning for another sportbike, but then I think..."Nope, the RS is sporty, it is comfortable and it is a long-term ownership kind of motorcycle".

@BEARR spot on! I do have to say, one bike that I've been looking at adding to the garage, maybe later this year or early next, is the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello. I did take one for a test ride a few months ago -- was really impressed with their new water cooled twin.
