A few years back, when I was still commuting/traveling for work, my wife gave me David McCullough's "Wright Brothers" and Chernow's "Hamilton" on CD. What a nice relief from the crap on the radio, at that time.

Sadly, car radios don't play CD's anymore........

Being old is easy.......................being unique, on the other hand ....

I had a well-used (Totaled by the first owner) 86 Celica GT with an AM STEREO radio.

it annoyed me when cars adopted FM radio but only held onto MW AM and ditched LW. BBC Radio 4 was broadcast on FM and LW so that the signal reached those parts not covered by FM. Remote islands mostly. When cricket commentary was broadcast they spilt the programming with FM taking the normal schedule and Test Match Special going to Long Wave. Of course, now it is all on digital radio but I lost a couple of decades of TMS to keep me company in the car.

Took me a few re-reads and a Google search or two to translate to English. At first glance, I thought .................. Why's he going on about Cell service?
