Interesting. I'm curious what folks in general think of the position of the stock RS bars. Are they too sporty at times? Do they need upright relief and relaxation at times? A separate thread no doubt. |

I agree with Jay K here. My previous bike was a K100RS, great riding position for me. |

Hello Richard_J I hope you are well. Here is an interesting photo showing the riding positions of the K1100 and R1100RS. You won't see pics like this any more as the testers are always crouched forwards in the test pics. It shows how the R1100 bars are a bit higher than the seat, but the footpegs are higher and further back. I would guess that the R1200 is about halfway between the 2.

That 1100RS is the same color as the one I had. Have never seen another that color. Can you name it? |
