Today, I took a ride and stopped in a sporting goods shop to find a wind shirt / vest. Whilst there, some customers engaged in a conservation about dropping their conceal carry items. One guy, was a biker and had his fall out on the berm of road. A nice elderly lady saw the item fall and retrieved it for him. He thought that was really nice.

The other guy replied........"Man! You are so lucky! You can't believe the hassle of reporting a lost item. My Bro-in-law dropped his while mowing the lawn. He's going crazy trying to find it......."

Only in America.......

Makes you wonder about the competency of those individuals who obtained the C&C permit. In a perfect world: Lose your gun -- lose your permit.

Is it normal to carry weapons when out on a ride and if so, why?
Is bike theft/hijack a problem or do you shoot up the local wildlife?

I get a kick out of the guys that forget their guns and try to bring a loaded firearm on to an airplane. Apparently, they manage to get them past the TSA security checkpoint occasionally, too. All of which says something about America and our love for guns, the bigger the better and also TSA staff.

That's a Ground Hog, my friend. Gophers live where you don't have to mow grass, unless you irrigate to grow grass. In which case, you deserve all the gophers God can provide.

I typically don't ride with them when they are on their mowers -- no matter how often they ask to ride two up.
