Hello, I am an RS devotee having bought the bike a year back. I love it. Best bike I've ever owned. Previous machines F800ST numerous Triumphs a Moto Guzzi and a Honda.
For me it's not a compromise sports/tourer - it does both to my satisfaction. And pleasure. The performance brings a wicked grin to my face.
