Hi all,
I see from a query that the registrant of the previous forum, Andrew MacGuffie from Nottingham UK, expired on 24th April 2018. This coincides roughly with the loss of access.
We really hope that Andrew is personally OK, as the registered business web site tied to the same person is also now defunct.
I have sent a text and email to the registrant last known details, in the small hope that should he be unable or unwilling to continue, that he may let us export some of the original content/tech data.

If I hear anything from Andrew at DRYVALET Ltd, I shall let the ADMIN know.

Andrew has registered MANY other bike related forums also, S1000XR and a CBR650 forum at least...and some Beemer chat websites.

Pity we don’t have a complete distribution list from the old site, would be great to be able to notify everyone of this new forum, but those who care and miss the old site will surely happen across this incarnation before too long.

I have reached out as well. I would be happy to transfer / register the domain, set up hosting, transfer the data, and set up Admin(s), etc.. If anyone hears, feel free to contact me. Let's see what we can salvage, if anything.

I got e-mail adress to about 50 "old" members as they purchased my luggage adapter plate. i will send an email and inform of this new forum.

It would be great if someone could contact all of the vendors from the old forum and invite them to our new home.

I hope something can be done to recover the old forum content. I don't think I have enough energy to rewrite all my old posts!

There's always www.archive.org
Just plug in r1200rsforums.com, select the most recent snapshot date (Feb 2018) and knock yourself out. Not real quick, but it could be useful to drag some posts out if you know what you're looking for.
