I've been shopping for some cylinder guards and a left hand valve cover after a slide that damaged the left side of my 2018 R1200RS. I see that some manufacturers list the R1200/R/RT/GS and RS as compatible and some manufactures don't list the RS. Is this an oversight or is there really a difference between the cylinders on these models.

Are you looking for head covers or bars?

You might have been looking at covers for the Pre Liquid Cooled R1200. First year for the R1200 liquid cooled is 2015.

I've noticed the RS gets left out occasionally. For head covers, if they fit the R they'll fit the RS (of a given year).
