Going to Dubrovnik in Croatia? Seems you won't have to use the Neum gap through Bosnia for much longer. The new bridge Pelje�ki Most, built by the Chinese https://goo.gl/maps/HMDSHg5WZrHGdsUz9 should open next month meaning you remain in the EU and don't have to faff with extra insurance and border delays.

Small note for early touring birds - opening in expected end of July so anyone touring the area before there is a 45min ferry going from Ploče (mainland) to Trpanj (Pelje�ac peninsula) you will have to double back across Pelje�ac (some nice roads tho) but you will avoid entering Bosnia for the Neum stretch.

Also with bikes don't wait in line, pull up to the front of the boarding area they'll assign you first out of the way on the sides of the ferry.

That guy on a red CBR in January people stare at because it's 0C and they're shivering in a car with heated seats - but he's filtering awaaaay!
