Here is news regarding the 2021 Milan Motorcycle show. I note that both BMW, KTM and even Ducati are not attending. But Royal Enfield and Zero will be there, so it is not the distance to the show that is keeping some of the major brands away: https://www.motorcycle.com/events/eicma-...e-show-coverage

Really, only the journalists that were only embellishing ad-copy with a few pictures of Booth Babes. Pack all that stuff in 18-wheelers and do demo rides around the countries.

BMW announced about 2 years ago that they wold not be exhibiting at large trades hws anymore. The also stated the would not be announcing all 'next year' new models in the autumn as before but instead would be staging releases throughout the year. We have alread seen this with new model information over the last 12 months

Then, if interested in a bike, go to a dealer, bounce up and down on a bike, drink free coffee and eat posh biscuits. Of course, this is easy for me as I have most of the major marques within 10 miles. I just wish a Moto Guzzi dealer is closer. I mean riding 43 miles for a test ride or service is just not on.
