Having done some night driving with the RS, I can honestly say a torch-holding blind man with a seeing eye dog running in front of me would project more light than the stock high & low beam combined.

Here's my Denali D2's mounted on MaMo bars. I use the hybrid system, one spot lens, the other flood.

Honestly, if you want to realize the full effect of the Denali's (if you choose that route), you should swap out the oem hi/lo beams for led replacements. Stated a 3rd shift job in May and have had ample opportunity to evaluate. I also have the Denali D2/Cansmart/MaMo light bar combo as well. This is a huge step up from stock. And although a little pricey, I consider it one of the best mods to my ‘16 RS.

I attach the installation procedure in case it's of use. Finally, the CANSmart does a lot more than just turn the lights on and off. Firstly, when you indicate it turns off the lights so people can see your indicators (blinkers for our American friends :)) . Secondly, you can program the CANSmart to output 10 different light levels and can vary when they come on (eg. 40% output when running under DRLs, but only 10% output at night when running dipped, with 100% at full beam).Plus with the cansmart you can adjust that while riding using the jog wheel. It also can flash your lights when you sound the horn, and also under heavy braking - I did some brake training recently which required braking from various speeds to 0mph and everyone said my bike lit up like a christmas tree... I have a cansmart system running some Denali D4s, a B6 brake light, a soundbomb split (all 3 bought from Phil @Fugly) and a USB port - it is great.

Simple swap for the LED replacements. And no warnings of many kind. Truly plug and play. The boots replace the stock plastic covers. They fit well and stay secure. Here's a link, from Grumpy's YouTube channel, that may help with the Denali install. |
