The wireless charging would be very nice, but I'm not quite sure I trust any of these to hold the phone securely.

How does it mount and where does it get its power from? Frustrating there are no pictures of the back. I've been using the one commonly sold online that mounts directly to the factory GPS holder. No wireless charging but holds my S20FE tightly and is easy to remove when I am using the NAV. If this unit mounted in the same way, I would definitely consider it, although $60 is pretty steep. |

I just got one on Amazon... mounts right up to the NAV. The only thing that I don't like is the USB plugs is in one cheap ass plastic unit instead of individual rubber plugs. Because I'm new it won't let me post the link but it was $28.99. However, sometimes theories don't pan out in the real world. I ordered one off of Ebay and returned it. First, the wireless charging didn't work on two iPhones (11 Pro and X) that I tried. Also, once the phone is mounted, there's no way to open the phone because the lock button on the right side is blocked. I returned it.

You can probably use a dremmel or a drill bit to cut out a hole or notch for the power button if you want. The cradle looks to be sturdy enough for cutting that out ... but why do you need to? The phone will turn itself off or it doesn't matter if you have it plugged in. It does clip into the nav mount and draws power directly from it and has 2 powered USB plugs. Here's a pic of my iPhone 11 in the cradle. You could always turn the phone the other way if you want access to the power button, but you wouldn't have access to the volume or power plug without similar modification. I like it so far tho.

The cradle I originally mentioned does not have USB charging. It's supposed to be wireless charging but that didn't work. As far as being able to get to the lock button, I probably would have made a port to do that but since the wireless charging didn't work, back it went. I could have also worked around it by unlocking the phone before putting it in the crade, but that can be a PITA. I could have also turned the phone the other way and relieved the part that was pushing the volume buttons, but again, charging didn't work so the thing was useless. I'll likely try the other style that charges via USB.
