Re-fitting pillion foot pegs. Grrrrrr!

I thought I’d clean my pillion peg brackets properly before storing them away as I don’t use them.

I tried a dry run first and at the fifth attempt it all went together. You can guess that despite my care, the ball took off when I took it apart to grease it up. Eventually found it, and around 20 attempts later, my greasy fingers finally persuaded it all to hold together. I think I’ll just squirt some oil into the RH peg

As to my annual MOT, that’ll take 10 minutes to refit the pegs, with a reminder in my diary to ensure a pass. But I do have an idea to modify a spare pillion seat to single seater mode.
