They only applied to commercial importers and not individuals anyway. People who did not do their research tried going about the registration process the wrong way and hit a brick wall, yet the correct way would allow the registration of a full power bike with no problems. All water under the bridge now as there are no restrictions. My problem is that I am looking at ex-demonstrator 1250RS's here in France. They are all registered in 2020. French dealers want €18000 or more for them and German dealers are much cheaper, €16500 in one case. I shall be going to Germany for mine. Can't buy in the UK due to brexit. |
