BMW uses BASF Glasurit paint but other companies can match it.
The paint codes I have written down are M25 for Lupin Blue and M21 for Light Grey Metallic.
I don't have the number for Granite Grey.

I bought the paint and lacquer from a distributor based in Welham Green Hertfordshire(I used the search function on the old forum)for 45 pounds. I'm currently looking into repairing the badly scuffed covers of my OEM luggage, and as the bike itself is Luvverly Lupin I'm considering painting them (or more likely, having them painted) to match. Could you possibly advise the source of your paint - is it RS Bike Paint (just had a look and don't see a 2015 R1200RS in their options, or any sign of lupin blue)? Do you maybe have the paint colour code?

Follow up - if I was to do them in the original granite grey instead, does anyone know where I can find the colour code for that?

They're not standard fitment on the super fast/superlight Lupins cos it would make all the owners of the slower heavier grey ones wet their frilly panties and go running crying to their mammies (I actually copied and pasted that off the BMW website )

Lupin my arse, it's Austin Allegro Tahiti Blue, found in the stores when BMW bought the Mini factory. Thank god it's all gone now. Fast? Did you ever see an SR-71 painted a floral shade of blue? Or an F-35? How about an F-117? Thought not.

Seriously though, is the Tahiti Blue definitely the same colour? Or are there variants of it? Just that I can see it's still available online, quite a bit cheaper than BMW Lupin
