It will be interesting to get your thoughts on this gel pad insert after the seat has been sitting in the 100 degree plus hot sun in your area especially come summer. I've read and heard other say who have used the gel pads on top of their stock seat they are very hot as the gel material holds the heat and it never really cools. Comfortable they say but hot to sit on.

I'm curious as to your experiences with the foam excavation for the gel insert. I can see myself making a real artwork with that task........
