I've had transition lens in the past (long ago) and found they were slow to change color. In the twisties with alternating shadow and sun, how do yours function? Do they change instantly?

I had transition lenses but they didn't work with my clear visor down because, as I found out later, the visor cuts out the UV. Most transition lenses use UV to darken.

One has to appreciate the commonality of solutions that include either moving to UK or riding only at night as far as sun issues go

I will say, so far, post-cataract surgery, glare seems to be less of an issue. However, the weather has been so crappy, my riding post-surgery riding experience has been less than I want.

Post surgery, you wear a clear eye patch to sleep for three nights and do eye drops for 4 weeks. For a week, you avoid dust and dirt (i.e., yard work, etc). It was two weeks between surgeries for me.

As for after, my world is brighter and more blue.
