I can see the article. Have not read the whole thing yet but something interesting I picked up that the 1300 now has "symmetrical" cylinders. I think they mean that from the rider's perspective they no longer appear staggered, i.e. the left cylinder slightly ahead of the right. I read somewhere else that the RH timing chain is now at the front while the LH timing chain remains at the rear. This gives a symmetrical appearance although the cylinders themselves are still offset as they have to be for a boxer. It's a small detail that caught my attention, but of course everything is new from the ground up. BMW put some thought into this one.
