Hi all. Have been a member on here for quite a while, but never got round to posting. It is a great forum and I have spent many an hour searching, reading, learning and have gained so much knowledge and know how about the RS. Thankyou all for that. I had the R1200RS for 4yrs and absolutely loved it. I have recently traded it in for a new to me 2022 R1250RS and it is awesome 😁 Been busy putting a few extras on it 😁 Cheers
Hi, am thinking of upgrading towards the end of the year from 1200 to 1250. Can you give a qualified view of differences which actually matter, and that influenced your decision ?? What you really like about new vs old ?
Hi LJJ I have only done a couple of hundred miles on the 1250 so far. The 1200 is a great bike but I never really liked the dash. Too difficult to read etc. The 1250 has the new TFT dash and it is amazing, very clear, easy to read and lots of info (once you scroll through the menu and get your head around it, it’s great) The shiftcam engine is brilliant, so smooth and responsive and very quick. I am very pleased with the bike. If you haven’t already, take a test ride you will not regret it.
