I used PLYGEM windows, a similar price point, back in 2010 for my workshop expansion (12 double-hung windows plus an exterior french door). Either the E-coating or double-pane seal has failed on 2 of the windows. They're still air-tight, but distracting. I used 7 new build Pella windows from Lowes when we upgraded the 1950's sunroom on the house. They're OK, at best. One of the sashes is failing (cracking along the wood grain), but Pella isn't interested in fulfilling warranty claims for sales thru non-Pella dealers. My last window purchase was 7 Marvin windows around 2016. The cost of installation for new build versus replacement units was within 20%. Instead of the installers working around the old interior trim, I selected and finished new trim/molding which they installed on new-build window units. According to the installers, they prefer replacing the interior molding and usually end-up doing so with replacement window units. Thus, there was minor cost difference between new-build and replacement units.

I never heard of that brand, but see the connection to Home Depot thru their website. Interestingly, my local Home Depot website lists American Craftsman brand for replacement windows and the warranty sheet says they're an Anderson product. Over on the Simonton website, the parent company claims to own that brand and others.
