This new Moto Guzzi has a completely redesigned engine, which is now water-cooled and uses a wet clutch. The cylinders have been turned around 90 degrees and the engine is much shorter and more compact than it was previously. The features of this new Motor Guzzi remind me a lot of the 2016 R and RS BMW bikes. Like the V85TT, I think they might be available at a significant price reduction after the initial excitement has waned. Then there is my mantra of not buying any vehicle until it has been around for a while so that all of the bugs have been ironed out.

Revzilla has just published a detailed review of the 2023 Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello S. I am not too sure if the accessory top box does anything for the Mandello's looks. The hard bags look OK, though. I bet it will be a couple of years before MG can catch up with just the initial orders for this bike: https://www.revzilla.com/common-tread/20...torcycle-review
