Hi folks
Rob here - new to my R1250RS after 4 years with a 2013 90th anniversary 1200RT

Loved it but wanted a few more horses for long-distance comfort and I like the lighter feel overall.
Based just outside West Bridgford. Always happy to meet up for a natter and a brew.

Mods so far in the first 72 hours....
Fitted an MRA Varios screen and waiting for the Powerbronze hugger to arrive today.
Planning to buy the luggage rack to fit the Motorad Bag I used on the RT.
Would love some recommendations on a replacement pipe from anyone local, please!

Hi Lee
It's the older style soft bag - grey with a blue liner.
The rack is the standard BMW one (comes in 3 parts).
I've got 2 of the older bags as a pal upgraded and gave me his which was virtually as new.

Enjoy your new bike.
I’d be interested to know how you get on with the MRA Varios screen, compared with the original, the wind noise from the original screen is my only bug bear with the bike, although bearable with it on its lowest setting and a new quieter helmet and decent ear plugs, it’s still noisy, it may be just me as I came from an older RT!

It's already evidently loads better. The OEM is absolutely useless though - so a pretty low bar!

The MRA completely shields all but my shoulders at speeds over 70 I'd say - but I've only set the position once so far - I might be able to improve from this.
