It was my third VFR, had a 2001, 2011 and the 2014. Honda made the VTEC much smoother with the latest model and I really liked the bike, even with luggage and pillion the VFR is a great bike. The RS is more comfortable, the riding position more upright and I like the electronics a lot, cruise control/suspension/driving modes, the VFR hasn't got such things. |

Welcome aboard. I also traded my 2014 Interceptor on a 2018 RS. After almost 4 years I'm still supper happy I did it. I owned a number of VFR interceptors over the years. I had a '85 500, a '93 & '94 VFR (someone stole the '93), a 2007 and a 2014 interceptor. Each of the hondas was better than it's predecessor. I still miss a number of things about the 2014. It was a super fun, great handling bike. Unfortunately, even with bar risers on it, I could no longer ride it more than half a day. My only issue with all day comfort on the RS is the seat. It seems a bit thin and unsupportive, at least to me, after a couple hours. Since I don't often take rides that long, I haven't looked into an after market seat.
