The U.S. FTC (Federal Trade Commission) has informed both H-D and Westinghouse that they are in violation of the law because their warranties require their customers to have all service work performed by franchised dealers, instead of also independent repair shops. It's sad to see the Westinghouse logo used by any marketing company looking for respectability. Reminds one of all the products branded as Indian for decades..........
