I bought a slightly used 2020 R1250RS and it had the pictured plate and backrest installed on its OEM tail rack. I've searched online but haven't been able to find this setup or even anything similar. It has a slick roundel that makes it look like a factory BMW item, but there are no part numbers on any of it. Whenever I buy a used motorcycle, I always take inventory of the accessories already on it before starting the list of what I add. This isn't a big deal, but I'm curious about where this plate and backrest came from and how much they cost. Seems very weird that it doesn't show up in any manufacturer's catalog, including anything I can access for BMW Motorrad. You can swap out a standard hex head screw for the larger hand wheel and still have the ability to use the BMW Soft bag |
