After six weeks of shopping, test riding, and waiting for shipment, I am going to get to ride my brand new, out of the crate, Imperial Blue 2020 R1250RS home tomorrow!

It feels like Christmas Eve......

Picked up the bike on Saturday. Had a 300 km ride home in some light rain, but mostly grey skies. I mixed it up, half two lane twisties and half four lane slab.

Michele and I did a 200 km local loop 2-up today. Bike works great!

Really happy with my decision to have Heli Bar risers installed before taking delivery. I had ridden a '18 1200 RS last month, and noticed more weight on the outside of the palms of my hands than I was comfortable with. The risers eliminated that.

It's a ride back to the mothership Saturday for the 1000 km run-in maintenance, and then time to explore a bit more of this bikes potential.

Thanks to all on this forum, and on one other forum. It has been great to have available such a wealth of information, which has allowed me to make a very informed decision.

I'll get some pics sometime...
