Zitat von backRoadS im Beitrag #5 I've actually had them on for several months now. Even without the new flairs, the bags were solid/stable even at 90mph. They catch no air from the fairing/screen. Easy on/off. Right one keeps the sae to usb connector to power the mp3's, air compressor etc. Left one carries sunglasses, cheaters, kleenex, large sandwich bag [ if I need to get the phone covered in a torrential. I waterproofed them 2x with Atsko water repellent as I had good luck with that product on a handlebar bag on the GS 3 years ago heading to the arctic circle [ 3 days of torrential and bone dry inside along with the upper crash bar bags as well ]. The crash bar bags were starting to get damp after the 3 days of torrentials, but still hadn't soaked through. These fairing bags replaced my handlebar bag where I kept my mp3's and phone. Oh, and they stand upright and no sagging when empty, which I really like about them. |

The flairs redirect the air such that for the first time I can turn the sena or cardo down several notches on the volume. They also move the air around the hands, and I'd have to guess at this point that that means less cold air and rain hitting them. IMO, they have been a huge change in buffeting/disturbing air and wind noise in the helmet, moving the air around me by about 3" outboard of each shoulder. Likely one of the most beneficial farkles I'll have put on the motor. |

Awesome. I was out on a fairly chilly ride today and was thinking about those flairs, so I checked this forum thread when I got back. Just ordered these flairs based on your thoughts. |

They help some, but not a lot keeping the rain off my hands. The gloves still get wet, but they are protected some so it takes longer for them to soak through [ I wear deerskin gloves and I just ride with them wet, they dry pretty quickly. |
