I'm not sure why this is happening. Sadly, the owner of the forum is currently absent and he would be the only one able to look into the reason behind this. I suspect it was introduced via the platform behind the forum as a security measure due to a load of global spam getting through their systems.

Some people have not been able to post URLs for many months, so I suspect an Admin would need to adjust a setting. Moderators do not have this ability.

We seem to have a workaround, just post the URL but edit out the https://www. bit. Sometimes I edit it back in if the volumes are low.
