Here is some experience with the Metzler Sportec M9 RR. I have now driven approx. 2,500 km and it has been a pleasure. I have previously driven many km (about 60,000 km in total.) With Michelin Road 5 and Conti RoadAttac 3, and compare the tires with them. The M9 RR makes steering in turns much easier and the motorcycle tilts faster and easier from side to side in fast turns. The tire has better grip during folding and until now, it seems that the wear resistance is ok. Until now, there is no visible wear marks. So I expect the tire to last 8,000 - 10,000 km, which is very nice of a sports tire. Can be recommended if you are into fast turns. I have been on a track day and it was great fun with this tyre.

Always a fan of sport tires, but never able to get more than 5000 km on them - especially if they find their way to a track. You must be especially smooth.
Keep us posted on longevity - I'm looking for an excuse to run another set.

Now I'm waiting for the post from someone who's run knobbies to make the dirt roads a little less exciting.....
