Morning all

has anyone put any sliders or any kind of protection on the shaft drive?

I have seen a few different options but was wondering which gives better protection?

Here are some of what I have seen. Is there much difference in quality?

I have that brand fork and swingarm sliders on my '16 RS. Good quality and easy installation. Thankfully I haven't tried them out

I have the R&G one as well. Frankly, that one and the one on the front forks I struggle to see how they protect, but I suppose if the bike gets lowsided without side cases, the swingarm could make contact with the ground.

I lowsided on my last bike on a track and I think it would have helped to have some protection.....and since I would like to do a track day, anything that will help I am up for that.

Yes it will. Nothing dramatic, just slightly scuffed up the plastic ring on the face of the axle when I lowsided my '16.

I took this off my old 2011 R1200R. I think it was from Hornig.
Have not put it to the test yet, not intending to.
