Just wondering if anyone has the tool to expand the mainstand spring. I've got a 2nd stand being coated at Triple S and I don't really want to go to the dealer to get it swapped over. The usual washer trick isn't working with two springs and swivelling plates. |

How about one of the spring removal/install tools used with old type auto drum brakes?

The arrow indicates the lever point approached through the triangular hole from the left side. Note, you want the stand up (with decrease in spring tension) when removing the plate. Cymarc is only offering this for the GS at the moment as far as I know. I'm currently developing a version for the RS which I intend to give to Mark at Cymarc if he is interesting in offering it to RS owners, subject to us getting out of lockdown!
